I can't give sight to the blind. Boy I wish I could. But I can't.
Do you ever get the feeling that you need to "redefine" things for people sometimes? Like, if someone is complaining that you have have shredded them verbally or via email and you are like "wow...I haven't even started tearing into you. Do you want to see emails that I have sent where I have TRULY torn someone to pieces??".
Perhaps it's a matter of people being overly sensitive. The kind of people who caused the phrase "making mountains out of mole hills" to be derived.
I just...man...wow...I just don't understand some people. But I will tell you this much - I DO now understand hermits. When the tiniest of insults leads to the greatest of rifts...why even bother? Why not just run to the hills and be by yourself and nature for the rest of your life? At least a tree won't be offended if you take it's fruit. And a creek won't stop running if you take a piss in it. Yeah...I can see how that kind of soloist life-style could be most desired. It's much better than having to deal with people and their ever-changing moods and attitudes and what will make them stop talking to you forever at this moment vs at the next moment.
I just hate being by myself though.
Oh well.
